2020- THE YEAR OF EXPECTATIONS VS REALITY
Entering into a new decade, everyone will wish for a fresh beginning but, what if the year 2020, the new decade had other ideas?….
THE UNEXPECTED TWIST:
As we all entered into the new year, I had plans and resolutions regarding my physical health and my career… I planned for going to the gym to get my body into shape, for my career I wanted to do a diploma course in visual communication as my dream is to get into the cine field…With all these things perfectly planned for 2020, the year started with the pandemic disease called CORONAVIRUS.
With the increase in the number of covid patients and deaths due to covid, Section-144 was implemented throughout the country….A complete lockdown for the entire country was not a joke but a serious issue….When people were suffering because of covid some people were suffering because of the lockdown implemented throughout the country….I watched the daily wage workers suffer but couldn’t help them and in the same way, my dreams ceased to exist, and all I could do was wait till the lockdown is lifted…
HOPE FOR THE BEST IN THE WORST:
During the lockdown, I discovered my interest and talents which I couldn’t see in myself before…I started working and developing my interest to a level that I could even choose it as my career now…Before 2020, I just had one option for my career, now I have few more options and now I need not stress myself in the jobs, that I don’t like instead now I can build a career in the field in which I have high interest….
We all needed something to boost us up and make us physically and mentally strong, and the year 2020 gave us a chance to spend time with our family and nothing can give us energy and hope like our family and friends…
Even though we had our own disappointments and losses in 2020, what was left with us was the hope…hoping that this pandemic would end soon and we would get back to our normal life very soon, and we all will have plenty of new ideas and decisions which would make our life much better than before.
